Letterman: Christmas lights in Donald Trump’s hair. Bush’s arm on fire while lighting Hanukah candles in a White House picture. Invictus also stars Nelson Mandela’s brother Howie Mandela. James Cameron’s technological innovations include the vibrating movie seat. Dave talks with Regis on the phone about his hip surgery and is jealous about Regis hanging out so much with Jimmy Kimmel. Top 10 ways Regis is passing the time while recovering from hip surgery presented by Regis. Sarah Jessica Parker talks about her kids and removing her mole. Leona Lewis performs. At the end of the performance Dave asked her where she’s going to be for Christmas. I remember he asked her the same thing last year, what a weirdo, haha.

Conan: Miracle on 34^th street edited with footage of the Hulk. La Bamba does an ad for Gatorade since he would never be involved in a sex scandal. Chris Brown is shutting down his twitter account so Conan shows some of his tweets. Conan and Andy throw Velcro decorations on a Velcro tree. Conan talks about the Jersey Shore guy’s nickname, “The Situation” and about wanting his own nickname. Andy does a stupid voice for the assassin in the Assassin’s Creed 2 video game. The black staff member talks about the main character in Princess and the Frog getting with a white guy and shows black female celebrities who are with white guys, including Tiger’s wife acting black. Megan Mullaly brought wigs for Conan and talks about making out with her husband on Parks and Recreation. The Situation and Snookie from Jersey Shore talk about their lives. Norah Jones performs.

Fallon: Higgins does a badly dubbed Japanese voiceover for Jimmy during a joke about Matsui in the monologue. Jimmy slowjams the news about bailout money. Brother Ali is sitting in with The Roots. The next Christmas sweater is given out. Andy Samberg comes out as “Jewy Fallon” doing a weird impersonation mix of a Jew and a really exaggerated impression of Jimmy to talk about Hanukah and then he and Jimmy do a Jewish dance. Marion Cotillard drinks some champagne with Jimmy to toast her Golden Globe nomination and talks about Nine. Director Jason Reitman also drinks champagne to toast his Globe nomination and talks about Up in the Air. Jimmy cooks with chef Anne Burrell.

Ferguson: It is the 1000^th episode and the puppets have taken over. Wavy the crocodile and the shark lip synch to Honky Tonk Badunkadunk with background dancers and bondage boy in the background. Wavy does a short monologue saying that Craig is missing and the puppets are hosting the show tonight. It also included a quick distant shot of Wavy being in a suit and tie. A shot of the camel and dog in the control room. Wavy shows a clip of The Fantasic Mr. Fox and then has an interview with Jason Schwartzman including ripping up the card in the beginning. A Sean Connery Holiday Memory with a horse puppet dressed up in clothes. Dear Aquaman with the shark in an Aquaman body. Wavy does a really short interview with Maria Bello. Another Dear Aquaman with the shark. Jason Segal as a Dracula puppet sings an original song including popping his head up halfway through. Another Sean Connery Holiday Memory. Wavy talks to Kristen Bell about wanting to date her. Wavy eats the kitten in the “What did we learn on the show tonight Craig?” graphic. To end the show Wavy lip synchs to You’ve Got a Friend and is joined by all of the puppets and the show’s characters including Craig as Prince Charles. Finally, credits play showing behind the scenes of Craig controlling the puppets, the crew setting it all up and Craig coming out from under the desk after the interviews.
