Friday August 7th Late Night Talk Show Recap

Realtime: The DrugWow is a shamwow snuggie that comes with the liquids to knock you out. The guest talks about health care, then so does the panel and when Arriana Huffington comes out they focus on the population’s reliance on prescription drugs. Bill has fake prescription drugs with clever names that relate to politics. New Rules: Books are not always better than the movies, Bolton’s moustache looks bad, Korea used same backdrop for a photo, Radioshack isn’t cool, don’t hit on your daughter at your wife’s funeral like Ryan O’Neal, the country isn’t smart. Bill was on CNN and when asked if he thought Palin would be elected President he said “I wouldn’t put anything past this stupid country” and that brought about a lot of complaints. Then Bill goes on to give some numbers proving his point. I’ve always agreed with that.


Conan: Video of made up Disneyland low budget rides. Conan visits the NBC store and meets a weird asian guy named Wing Pang then ends up talking to him for the rest of the package including going to his office to watch the Munsters Christmas special. Then he brings Wing out into the studio. The show has prison inmates working on the show including cameraman, craft services guy shanking a watermelon over and over, and a guy backstage with Mary Lynn Rajskubb. Conan says old people should get healthcare and Conan’s father issues a rebuttal from his home saying he has never cared about old people. Eric Bana. Mary Lynn Rajskubb. Flo Rida performs.


Fallon: Jimmy’s weekly thank you notes to people and things in the news. Then he thanks John Hughes seriously and sings a thank you song into commercial. Bing Search Competition with audience members competing to search for something the fastest. It begun with a video detailing the history of calling in sick then someone calling in sick to Jimmy’s fake office. Munkus appeared quickly. Paul Giamatti. Ken Jeong talks about being naked in The Hangover, his parents and calls out John Cena for hurting his head on Raw. Julian Plenti performs.


Ferguson: Craig as J.K. Rowling hosting her own show and Jeffrey Tambor as Twilight’s author is his guest and they get mad at each other, then Craig brings in that dominatrix guy dressed as a wizard. Don Rickles talks for a long time and Craig sits next to him. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings performs.
