Monday August 10th Late Night Talk Show Recap

Daily Show: Old people go bonkers at health care rallies saying they’re afraid of Obama. Jon shows old clips of Fox News calling the left zealots and Nazis, but that’s just how the right is acting now. Palin makes a stupid comment about it on facebook. Video of the old lady who’s fallen and can’t get up now edited with guy saying Obama said we can’t help you. Sam Bee, John Oliver and Aasif Mandvi all discuss the Obama health plan and make fun of the supposed “death panels.” The guest talks about Benjamin Franklin.


Conan: Hillary Clinton dancing in Africa combined with clips and music from Dirty Dancing. Conan thanks the actors union saying their work is admirable and Conan shows clips of the show’s most ridiculous moments. Obama health plan protest has Andy protesting with a No Fat Chicks sign. Discovery has Bark Week making tree bark look scary. Celebrity Survey. Kyra Sedgwick talks about The Closer and the Bernie Madoff like character on it. Hugh Dancy talks about his philosopher father and his movie. Lyle Lovett performs.


Fallon: 7th Floor west season finale!: Jimmy’s old assistant lets Jimmy back into the building then he confronts the new one and joins the conga line. Then Jimmy shows a long preview of this fall’s new reality series, Real Housewives of Late Night, which had Jimmy playing his wife like one on the TV series. Then the woman who sang the 7th floor west theme song sings it live, she was pretty good. Eric Bana talks about his new movie then teaches Jimmy the basics of Australian football and they drink Australian beer at the end. The So You Think You Can Dance winner performs with a guy then talks to a Jimmy for a little bit and teaches him a quick pop and lock move. Jordana Spiro only talks for a short amount of time because everyone else ran over. Fallout Boy performs.


Ferguson: Craig starts off the show with a Craig puppet! During the emails Craig stands on his desk. Carrot Top does his usual prop comedy then talks to Craig for a little bit. Alexis Bledel talks about doing fireworks indoors. Michael Caine's Animal Kingdom.
