Daily show: Obama might not have been checking out the ass, but Sarkozy was. Oscar Meyer dies. Palin resigns and Jon gets the news a few hours into his vacation and we see fake footage of him fishing. Samantha Bee reports on it, tells Jon to back off the criticism and Palin will be stepping down as a mother. Front page of NY Times has Palin signing a baby. Rep Barney Frank says more people would like to be stimulated than recovered. He talks about the economy, bailouts, mortages and the home market.

Conan: 7 year old Sontomayor is Dora the Explorer. The meteor in NBC’s Meteor hits Heidi and Spencer’s car. Andy is stuck under a column outside in front of the Universal tour so Conan saves him. State quarters: Alaska has Palin with a lot of bs talk then I quit. Jeff Goldblum talks about a fight that almost broke out in a restaurant he was in with Conan and about his confidence with women in New York at a young age. He gives Conan a tip that on the subway you can grab a person’s nose then ask a question really fast and they won’t be upset about the nose. Conan then thinks it would work with anything and motions to squeeze a breast. Bill Engvall. The cast of Hair performs and climbs around the audience touching their hair, then a girl gives Conan a flower and he eats it.

Letterman: Liberty wearing I love NY shirt, shorts and sandals. Madoff countdown. Pope in a sleeveless shirt. Sontomayor’s eyes close and there is a fake snore sound during her hearings. McCain doesn’t want to say he would endorse Palin in 2012. Top 10 Dick Cheney excuses. Biff finds celebrity lookalikes in Central Park, but just like the practical joke segment he did before, he can’t remember the long title of the segment and neither can Sue the costume lady. Jack Nicholson, Jamie Foxx and Larry David lookalikes. Jonah Hill talks about someone impersonating him on twitter, trying to guess his favorite actor for a security question, his producer job on Bruno and Funny People. Baseball batting stance impersonator Gar Ryness talks about it then does a lot of them which include a lot of humor. Kelly Clarkson performs.

Fallon: Jimmy shows pictures from performing at an event at the white house and how Obama made fun of him wearing a suit. 7th Floor West: Jimmy has to make copies himself and prints blank pages. Jimmy’s assistant made photocopies for Miles instead. Cell Phone Shootout: audience members take pics of prizes scrolling on the Sharp 108.
